In London during the 2012 Olympics more than 3000 medals will be awarded. There’s a pretty good chance that some of those medals will be lost before they even make it to their home country.

Olympic medals are lost more often than you might imagine, and although it’s fairly easy to determine who it belongs to, not all of them find their way home. Olympic snowboarder, Shaun White had been pretty open about losing his gold medal from the Torino Olympics several times, it was even forgotten at the dry cleaners once

Klinke Cleaners wants its customers to rest assured, knowing that if they leave their Olympic medals at any one of our locations we will happily contact you and return your property. But, in all seriousness, Klinke Cleaners returns anything valuable that is found in our customer’s clothing. If you’ve left something in your clothing you can expect to find a small bag with that item in it attached to your order. Although we’ve never run across an Olympic medal, we have found (and returned) several nice pens, cash and once, a Rolex.

All of the Klinke Cleaners locations would like to wish Team USA good luck in London!
