Express Yourself with Express Bag Comment Cards

If you use our free Express Service, you are using the fastest, most convenient dry cleaning service in Wisconsin. Dropping off an Express Bag is as simple as handing us the bag in the store, through the drive-thru window or using our 24/7 Express Drop Box. But what happens when you want to give our store some feedback or you have some custom cleaning instructions for a particular garment? We now have a comment card on our website for the occassion when you are in a hurry but need to communicate with us about your garment care or our services. Simply visit klinkecleaners.com/express to print the card.

What if the garment care request is something you want us to do every time you drop off your cleaning? You don't want to fill out a comment card every time you drop off your Express Bag, right? To address this, we've added a checkbox to the comment card that will alert us to save this request into your account so you don't have to ask for it again.

We hope you find this small addition to our signature service a useful feature. We are always looking for ways to make our service more convenient for you.

Hello,

I have a comment about the new Eco-Garment express bag. I think this is a great idea and i was eager to get one. However, the last 3 times I have taken my cleaning in using the bag when I get it back only a few of the items I have taken were in the garment bag. For example the order i picked up today there were 19 shirts and 1 pair of pants. Of those the store put 3 shirts in the garment bag and the rest in the plastic bags. I thought the idea was to cut down on the number of plastic bags being used, but this has not saved anything. The 3 items that were in the garment bag would have fit in the 4 plastic bags I got so this did not cut down on the number of plastic bags I get at all. I have an issue with this because the plastic bags are NOT good for the environment. I would suggest revisiting the procedures surrounding this new eco garment bag.

Jim,

Great question! Our EarthSmart Bags are intended to hold up to six garments. Any more than six and the garments can get squished in the bag and then start wrinkling. In your case, I don't know why the store didn't put six shirts in the bag. That is strange. I will follow up with the store and let them know about this situation. I am sorry that you received too many plastic bags. They are a hassle and we know that.

The only solution to completely ridding yourself of our plastic garment bags is to have enough EarthSmart Bags to cover all the garments that you dropped off. In the example above, you had 19 laundered pieces and 1 dry-cleaning piece. You would need 4 bags for your laundry and 1 for your dry-cleaning (I'll explain this split in a minute). When you drop off, just put all the spare EarthSmart Bags into one primary EarthSmart Bag. Our staff will then see all these bags and use as many as they need to cover all your orders.

Just a reminder, if you use our free Express Service, the EarthSmart Bags are only $5 each or you can use our coupon that gets you a free bag for every three dry-cleaning garments and/or six laundered shirts that you bring in. (Note: this coupon precludes you from using a discount coupon in the same visit). You can find that coupon in our printed coupons or via our email coupons. You can find out more about that here: http://www.klinkecleaners.com/coupon-options/

Lastly, I just want to explain the issue with laundered shirts and dry-cleaning and why each needs their own EarthSmart Bag. In our stores, after the garments are invoiced and tagged, laundry goes one direction and dry-cleaning goes another. Then, when those orders are brought back together, they are assembled in two different areas - one for dry-cleaning and one for laundered shirts. When we devised the EarthSmart Bags, we spent hours discussing how we could marry-up dry-cleaning and laundered garments so they could all be placed in one bag. No matter what avenue we discussed, the solution devastated our current systems. Our workflow organization would completely break down. We ultimately decided to treat the bags as we do our Express Bags - the bag ends up either with the laundered shirts (most typical) or with the dry-cleaning if a customer drops off a mixed order. You could always request to the manager of your preferred store that they marry-up your orders whenever possible. You could also request that this be added to your account as a permanent reminder request. This means we'll insert the request to pop up on our screens and print on your invoices. We're happy to do this for you.

I hope this helps! Thanks again and I apologize for the plastic!
